Monday, January 19, 2004 ::: got up at 7:45am in the morning the weather... chilly, wet, rain... damn got dressed, prepared to deliver the school blazer to lo: who asked me abt it, last minute then my mobile rang... he called, saying that the photo shoot was cancelled due to poor weather damn. i went back to bed. it's then almost 10 when i woke up again. the weather ain't got any better. went out to see the doc, got another 4 weeks of pills. the morning was bad enough... after lunch it was time for lecture on my way back to CU i closed my eyes trying to get some rest... i wasn't feeling too well anyway and throughout the trip one lady who sat around 10m from me was playing with her cell phone, which gave out screaming sounds and some annoying sound effects at probably the maximum volume the phone can give off every 10 seconds or so. a voice in my brain told me to get to that lady and yank her phone off the trian. but of course the sane part of me took over and i waited till i reached university station to let the anger subside... c'mon, she could at least turn the volume down a bit or mute it... and the screaming sounds, i tell you, were really disturbing. i wonder what kind of games (installed in a cell phone!) could give off such sounds. got through with the PFOS FA, finally. it's the lecturrrrrrre... and practical. we skipped the practical part, emptied med soc room. talk about the satisfaction of throwing things away! i threw and i threw and i threw... cabinets... syringes... old socks (yew!!!)... all went to the truck. it's then the horrible horrible thing -- some AGM for med soc. damn, don't want to explain what happened. it has to be held again, and this alone is enough to drive us mad. 1 hour wasted. then i went swimming. great, this time i really felt like working out. all heat up, i browsed through TST... HMV, got a $20 CD out of curiousity. And then got 3 DVDs from the store. OMG the store was playing that Victory tune from the '12 Chinese Chics' in REPEAT MODE! gosh if i was not drawn by the attractive prices of the DVDs I swear I would leave that store immediately through the windows. I promised myself i wouldn't enter ANY store that plays '12 Chics' again. But that's not the end of the story. on my way back home, that Roadshow thing played '12 Chics'. Those chics playing instruments. At that time i felt nauseated. Unfortunately I couldn't escape through the windows... 12 Chics is manifesting the whole of HK. gosh, this whole thing is just so corrupted. ::: posted by Wings at 1/19/2004 08:36:00 AM
